I made good use of the rear tab on my Getrag 5 speed swap by hanging the exhaust from it. A hardened 3/8” bolt with a tab welded on the end was all it took to offset a hole 13/16” to pick up the bolt coming up from a pair of stock BMW exhaust clamps. Two rubbers from a shock absorber, 2 washers and 2 nylock nuts was all it took to complete it. Sorry I forgot to photograph the bolt with the tab (senior moment) but the 1/8” tab was welded on at a right angle to offset the center of the 3/8” hole 13/16” from the center of the welded bolt.
