Hello stone02,
I would be interested in the insulation panel. I can pay you through PayPal. Let me know shipping to 07882. Thanks, Chris

Having tried to locate one of these for my RHD CSi without success, I decided to explore getting one made in dense rubber foam, similar to neoprene. I happen to have a bulkhead panel which I cut from a parts car many years ago. This, and the fact that I did fit a new sound insulation panel on my RHD CSL which I still own, means I can be pretty certain of getting the cut-outs right. It can be done by using a platen-press (which will require an expensive form) or it can be done with an automated cutter - depends upon the numbers to be produced. The panel will be flat i.e. not contoured to the bulkhead. It will need fixing with adhesive dabs as well as the three clips. According to REAL OEM it is the same part number for RHD and LHD (which explains the superfluous apertures and cut-outs). As a guess, I reckon that I can get these produced for £75 - £100 apiece plus P&P and I wondered if there is any interest from Forum members. The colour is black. Fitting would not require removal of parts from the engine bay Any interest? If so, please email me at [email protected]
