Firewall Pads

Hi All,
I went into my local BMW main dealer in Rochdale, England, to order this part this week but was told its NLA in Europe, can anyone supply me with one.
On the plus side I did manage to order the cill (rocker cover) decorative chrome strips that were listed as NLA.

How much "removal" is involved to install these?
Gasp! Look how clean and neat that engine is. Envy.

Just remove the firewall rubber seal, lift up at the clips and gently pry pad away from firewall, it has adhesive on the backside. If you still have the emission dashpots on the firewall remove them first. The new one fits around the overflow tank but removing it makes installation easier. I set it in place and then sprayed adhesive to the driver side of the pad and the firewall, let it stand five minutes, shot some more and then pressed into place. Repeat for passenger side, pretty easy.

Follow HB Chris highly correct instruction
If the pad includes self adhesive tape, do not trust that will hold! Use as said some kind of good contact glue and gently press the pad towards firewall, specially at the bendings of the firewall (Note! to strong clamps could cause lasting impacts in the pad)

A year ago I told my local dealer to order this upper pad and he said it's NLA according to BMW.
A few days later he called me that he found one not registred "shelf warmer" at a dealer in the very north of Sweden.
It could possible be one of the last pad with pronounced texture I got?
So continue support your local BMW dealer. They can do what other can't or will....

Thanks guys. Something I was thinking about tackling this summer although the originals are in pretty good shape.
The one I showed was just bought from a local dealer.
