Today I drove the CSL from Los Gatos to Santa Monica down Hwy 101. This is the first real roadtrip I've ever gone on in the car and I'm pleased to report that everything went well (you never take this for granted in a 33 year old car). The Scheels aren't the greatest seats for long term drives as you cannot shift your position at all in them. The weather was beautiful, and the traffic was not too bad for most of the trip. I made the run in a little over 6 hours, with a 30 minute break for lunch and fuel in SLO town. Massive traffic due to an accident near Venture county line added 45 minutes to my trip. Most of the time I was going about 70MPH, with a few periods where I was close to 80.
