Its not you, those are atrocious. If approx 3000 dollars (the reserve) is the going rate for these now then its time I cut loose with my unused, unpainted lovely bare metal originals set with all '72 date codes (yes...this is a "feelie")
 
Yikes! I would think that’s a bit too much pc, probably on purpose to hide damage

Wow, I didn't open the wheel ad, went looking at the slide-throttle setups and other racing stuff instead. >drool<
Thought they were plain, just bead blasted... how much paint would it take to cover the markings?!? Yikes.

Agree with @dp, rare as they are, probably pass because there's no way to know what's under all that gunk.
