If you start with careful removal of the center console/screws, you will find it a lot easier to reach up behind the dash and access the hand screws that hold the lighted panels in place, there is one on each end of each piece, if you stick a mirror under there w/a flashlight you will see them and that they are really fairly easy to remove. Write a note about which color wire goes where before you unplug things and you s/b fine!

Hi dp - are the screws you mention Bakelite type - three of them, one on either side of clock and then one next to instrument cluster? Is there bulb standard, easy to find?
