Having stripped all the bitumen layer from my floor to check out its condition and give it a coat of epoxy, I am pondering what to do with the floor plugs.:???:
I can't see that they serve any real purpose (other than be a potential entry point for water) and once covered with a new bitumen layer (Dynamat or similar) can't be accessed anyway. I note that any new floor sections are solid and only have the floor plug impression pressed into them.
I am considering welding them or maybe using some adhesive like JB weld or similar or making up a rubber seal and screwing them in.
So ... what have you guys done with yours? ... if anything.
thank you for your input
