thanks but not sure if its the same, does anybody know if the 72 fly wheel automatic will fit a 71?

Check me on this, but Realoem shows the part number for my flywheel as 11 22 1 253 633; I looked at the part number for a February 1971 2800 automatic and found the same part number.

Hi Joe -- I believe it is in good shape. I removed it from my car when I swapped to the five speed about 18 months ago. I had no issues with it, so I have no reason to think there are any problems with it.

You can have it for $60 plus shipping.

Thanks, I am looking at a transmission locally if its a no go then I'll have to get your transmission and flywheel. Will let you know, thanks again Joe
