I'm upgrading my 73 CSi to a 5 speed and am changing the clutch. The flywheel was quite rough and with some difficulty I removed the flywheel to be turned. There seemed to be locktite on the flywheel bolts. To what torque should I tighten the flywheel bolts, and should I use locktite? Thanks. Jeff

I would use the factory specs 10-11 mkp (1 mkp=7.23 ft/lb) so approximately 72 - 80 ft/lbs. Red loctite.

Good luck.

You are really supposed to replace those flywheel bolts with new ones every time. When properly torqued, they are stretched (a little past the elastic limit, I guess). The new bolts come with a dry threadlocker on the threads.
