Foam bits under carpet

Spring cleaning the garage, and I found a box of foam bits that were originally under the carpets in the footwells of one coupe or another that I have dismantled. I have not seen these discussed in any other thread. Do folks restoring their coupes use these, are reproductions available?

There have been threads discussing them in the past. Mostly of the form: "Mine got lost, crumbled into dust, or otherwise disappeared. How can I replace them?" And, I don't recall reading any simple solutions.

Yea, absolutely. You need something to fill that space.

So I would suggest that if your pieces are halfway decent, they definitely have value.
