So much of what we collectively post here will be the only real resource for owners looking to maintain their cars in the coming years. While the text will be helpful, the photos being posted are always what seem to help me really understand the steps to fix this-or-that, or how a trim piece should look.

Currently, users need to use photobucket or similar. There are two problems with this:

1. Not everyone knows how to use these sites.
2. Photos can be moved or removed causing the link to them in the post to be unavailable.

I suggest that at some point we look into a solution that stores the images on our server so that they can be maintained with the thread in perpetuity, and perhaps be easier to use.

Image Sharing

Reddit had a similar problem a few years ago and one of its users made this really easy to use image sharing site called Imgur. It lets you make albums and sort stuff however you want, and people find it WAY easier to use than Photobucket. It'll let you upload almost any format and I don't think that there's a size limit on images. Also, it's usually faster than the other sites, so there's that.

What has changed with the tapatalk settings on the site? I used to be able to post pictures directly from the app but no more??

From one who is computer challenged. Being able to post photos directly into a post would be fantastic.
