I purchased this system from another member about a year ago with the intention of installing in my coupe. Unfortunately, I've been distracted with restoration of 2 Mercedes Pagoda roadsters, as well as an MGA. Finally decided I'll just concentrate on installing the 2 A/C systems I have for the Mercedes, and drive the e9 in the spring and fall only when A/C is unneeded.
This system is complete, including center console piece and sides (including spares) evaporator, drier, condenser, elec. fan, and orig. York compressor, as well as stock compressor mounting bracket (hard to find). The only piece missing is the 3-groove crankshaft pulley. These can come from virtually any early BMW 6-cylinder, including Bavaria, for around $30 at a dismantler. If I were to install this system, I'd replace all the hoses and drier, and get an inexpensive Japanese Sanden compressor instead of the York.
$900 plus shipping. There is a good chance I'll be at Vintage in the Vinyard this May, could bring it along to save shipping if it doesn't sell by then. Email me for pictures. I'll try to post some online soon.
I'll likely put this on eBay if it doesn't sell soon.
