You have prompted a question, if I may intrude. Has anyone ever fitted inner liners to the rear wheel arches and, if so, whence came they? I have vague memories of someone saying that they had found a partial fit with a Volvo model, capable of adaptation. Any clues? John.

what type are they - volvo fender liners or the lokari aluminum type?
 
The link 2 posts above is a great source of information for mounting Volvo liners in the FRONT wheel wells. Notice the 'two hooks' and the AC compressor in the last few pictures.
