Incredible sound, what engine would be in that car?

Must be one of them stainless steel exhausts, minus the center resonator.

Absolutely amazing what that engine can take. Looking at that video I would expect them to explode any second.

That is Scott Hughes car #51 the white car . Had the M30 motor with the Krugelfisher (SP) injection.
Not sure what the black cars has but I did notice he has a 6 speed which i don't think the white car has. Hence the black car catches the white one on the faster sections.
May also be a dog leg 5 speed. Hence 5th would be where 6th would be in a modern car.
Brian Redman is like 78 years old and co-drove with Scott Hughes.
Hughes was doing well but had a rear diff failure and dropped them back.
