For those who have installed Motronic 1.3, pointer needed

Was in the process of installing Motronic 1.3 on my M30B35 motor today and hit a snag. The a/c compressor bolt/bracket and the crank position/rpm sensor bracket want to inhabit the same space. The car's been converted to R134 based a/c system, perhaps I have a particularly burly compressor? Anyone else run into this and have a proven solution?

I was THIS CLOSE to turning the key and figuring out what else is messed up.
