Is there a way to add particular posts and or threads to a personal favourites section? I seem to spend a lot of time searching, ( and yes I do use the search function ), for things I mean to get back to.
Eg. Adding window relays. If I search window relays I get a lot of information that I have to trawl through and discard to find what I want.
If extra donations are required to create such a facility perhaps a forum drive to sponsor it can be initiated.

That is a great idea- until then….
Once I find a post that I want to keep, I copy the url and send myself an email with an appropriate title that I save to an email file titled BMW Stuff.
I now have an archive of all the vetted info that is really easy to scan through or search.

One way is to tag the thread and use Tag Search to find it later. Since the tag function doesn't get used much this works fairly well on this forum.

There's also a "Bookmark" addon that I'll look into. Click Bookmark, add a note if you want, and it creates a personal list linked from your profile. I'll try to add it this week..

I bookmark posts in my E9 file that I need to refer to on my computer and there are a bunch!

This works great if you're always using the same desktop. You can also tag your bookmarks in Manage Bookmarks to help separate them from non-E9 bookmarks. :)

Going through all your bookmarks can be quite entertaining sometimes. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that one!".

Nothing to add. It is already enabled. You click on the bookmark icon on the post.

Thanks all.

Yes MTW I have tried using that feature however it just disappears. I go into the usual "Setting and more" for bookmarks and nothing. Not the fault of this site - I upgraded to windows 10 and lost all of my bookmarks including bookmarks itself in the 3 little dots drop down.

Dang mentioned this -

How do I "Tag"? And where does it go. I did an IQ test recently and scored 142 yet I feel like an imbecile.
