Hey, guys.
For those coupesters in Texas, and then primarily in the Austin/Houston/Dallas area, I found a good shop for coupe-related work. The place is called, Autoworks, and is run by a gent with the name of Bill Marden. I was suggested this place by my previosu mechanic, the excellent David Harrison of Harrison Motorsports. Bill has apparently had the same training and is quite chummy with the likes of Brett Anderson (Koala Motorsports) and everybody's favorite, Carl Nelson (LaJolla Indep.). He has his personal coupe in the shop in mid-resto, as well as 4 older (late 70s, by the looks of them) Merc V8 convertables. He also offers training classes for modern hardware, like the new BMW, Merc, and Audi/VW computer control systems.
He was very patient, and extremely versed in the ways of coupe repair. I know that if I ever get the Fijord beasty down here, I'll bring it to him.
