Pre (pushed on) or facelift (nut-mounted)?

Chrome of black?

I have a pre-facelift pair in chrome/inox. PM me if you would be interested. Shipping to Germany should not be a big cost.

Didn’t know there were ever nut mounted wipers on e9? Maybe only in US?
Anyway, mine is a ‘75 (euro) and has push on wipers.
Chrome end caps and polished stainless arms but I will consider anything in great condition.

It was discussed few times on here that late E9's were having nuts

Mine 2.5CS has nut mounted arms.

For silver it was black as fender trims and hood plastic trim.

Here's the example:

I would just say for black trim and late models from 1975 different wiper arms have been used as the paint of the air filter.

As you can see black plastic caps are used which are hiding the mounting nuts:

Note:
Also black painted air filter was told for E9 as only in grey (mine is also black and has never been repainted).

so very true ... these cars changed a lot of small details during its production run. i remember seeing the nut on REAL OEM and knew that i hadn't seen it on a few 74s ... but never seen a '75 car, much less a 2.5cs

Might be wrong but in summary (with HB Chris support) most of E9 were having push rod mount and they were typically chromed die casted ZAMAC (mount) / stamped inox (arm).
Some cars with black trims (color dependent?) were having black arms.

For 1975 it looks All models were equipped with black-painted, nut-mounted arms (unification with other models?)

It can be seen on the original brochure for 2.5CS where chrome trims on the fenders are used with black wiper arms (also visible lack of rear bumper over riders).

Thank you for reminding me!
It was mostly about me. ;-)

Thanks for keeping me up as I have learned a lot on this forum and it also motivates me to dive deeper for type specific differences I was unable to tell without All the Members here!

In 9/73 all coupes received the black wiper arms but apparently as you noted, the 2.5CS and perhaps the other 75 models also got the bolt on arms.

On the euro cars, the bolt-on (secured with a nut) wipers were introduced at the end of 1974, before that they were clip-on in black and before 1974 clip-on in chrome. The US models were somewhat different.
