Does anyone have a shift platform part number 25111205386 for the Getrag 265/6 that they would be willing to sell?
Thanks

I ended up buying my shift platform new from Carl @ La Jolla Independent. www.bimmerdoc.com for $74.29.

Here's the link for the post I made on Jan 6, 2017 with the part numbers and prices for the full shifter assembly for the Getrag 265/6.

May I ask where you found it? I'm looking too.

I really got lucky (I need to buy some lottery tickets) and happened to call the used auto parts place at the right time. Prior to that I checked all the usual places with no results and paid for new ones on line from 4 different companies (US and Europe) only to get the funds refunded a week later. W&N lists aftermarket ones but on backorder. Not sure if BMW made them stop or not. There is the 4 speed platform available (25111205384) suggested by a friend that might work and would need modifications. If you need dimensions from mine, please let me know in the next few weeks before this is installed.

I have this part:

This is neither a 25111205386, nor a 25111205384. Compared to those shift platforms, it does not extend down as far. Nonetheless, when compared to the platform I have in my car, it is very similar:

As you can see from this picture, the platform installs without bolts through the holes at the bottom of the the extension on parts 25111205386 and 25111205384. For this reason, I am pretty sure this part will bolt up to a Getrag 265/5 just as the one in the picture, which is the one in my car.

However, the platform in my car has an extension coming straight out of the back of the platform, which is used to bolt the rear of the platform to the body of the car. The hole in the platform I have pictured here does not extend as far as the one in my car, but you can easily add a flat piece of sheet metal to move the mounting point further back and allow for a gentler angle from the transmission side of the shift platform to the body mount. INdeed, adding a flat sheet metal extension would allow for another bushing, reducing further any vibration that might be transmitted.

If you want to try this, its yours for $35 shipped.

A wee bit late but did this work out with Antar? I am also struggling to find a shifter platform for my swap.
