i think it would be really interesting if you were able to count the meaningful or helpful posts. sure that is subjective. yes Chris, Steve, 61porsche would still lead the count ... a couple of people might drop off the list.

i only hope some of my posts are helpful. i have certainly learned a lot from many post on this forum ... a lot from some people who don't post that often, but the help from the people on the this top 20 ... huge. a sincere thank you to everyone.

On that note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many members, past and present, on this forum that have helped me keep my car running. I think back to how completely ignorant I was when I got bought my car off eBay and the help from strangers that brought the car to a point where it will almost certainly be the nicest car I will ever own. Your knowledge and generosity is sincerely appreciated.

I personally do not think that post number reflects a "value" of that forum member. For example, a certain banned member put up over 600 posts in the 6 months or so that he was active here. If he were allowed to continue at that rate, he would have almost 4,000 posts today. I'm sure most of us would not rank him as the #1 most helpful E9'er! Conversely, much of the great information on this site comes from people who aren't among the top 20 post-ers.

Stan, given that I can count the number of E9ers that I have met in person on my fingers, your job of East Coast Ambassador is safe!
