Hi John,
Am based in the Midlands, we could meet half way at a service station and I travel to London every few weeks,
I could meet Damien in London, and drop this part to him,

If you don't want to send the part through Royal Mail and for Damien to receive it bent , damaged ...

The guy working on the car says now that he may have one somewhere, I will hopefully find out tomorrow, then I’ll get back to you John.
 
Hi all, still trying to pin the garage down on whether they have one of these I can have. Would be best if he can supply, as at least there is no argument over who is to blame when it doesn't fit the car. Or rather, when the car doesn't fit the trim.
 
I finally managed to speak with the restorer on Friday, and he says he definitely has a spare he can give me. He's been off due to illness so it's been slow progress.
