I'd like to find out if there is a stock distance from the front leading edge of the wheel well to the back tip of the Front Bumper (73). If someone could measure I would really appreciate it. Thanks

i am not sure if i am understanding well your question, but to my understanding, the front bumper rear corners will fix exactly in the place where the holes let the bolts fix that corners !, unless you miss the mentioned holes (due to a body restoration), you should do it with no problem

probably you can tell us what problems are you experiencing ;-)

regards

Assuming that you have a US version with they Y bracket use the spacer...

In 1973 the US version bumpers were pushed out about an inch farther using a bumper bracket with a Y at the end. With this bracket you need the factory plastic side spacers that extend the bumper on the sides to line up with the holes in the fenders...

Sorry for the confusion. I had 74 bumpers on my car and now converting to the earlier style bumpers. I'm trying to necessarily us or euro specs. I would like to have them places so that they look nice and correct if someone from this forum would to see the car. Yes I was trying to get the dimension from the end of the bumper tips on each side to the front leading edge of the front wheel well.

Want to sell the 74 bumper parts?

I need a couple of parts for a 1974 bumper... Interested is selling your take offs?
