Front fog lamp question

My 1974 German market E9 is wired for front / rear fog lamps (as I presume most German cars were around then). The rear fog (RH switch next to steering column) operates the integrated rear fog lamp. I assume the LH switch operates the front fogs. Were these an option? My car has holes in the front bumper that are filled with chromed cap bolts (that look more factory than amateur). Question -- were all German / EU cars prepped for front fog (or driving) lamps? If so, is there a lead somewhere on the engine compartment harness for this? I have a nice set of period Cibies, but I don't feel like doing a heavy wiring job to mount them. Since the switch is already there, I was hoping to find an easy wiring solution. Thanks!

Yes the wiring is installed. It will require a relay to be fitted and probably the wiring from the relay to the lights. Not a big job.

Pm me for key and schematic
