Might be a good time to upgrade to H4s. Difference in visibility was dramatic.

thanks for your replies guys, to clarify, it is the metal reflective coating inside the headlight whcih is gone, the glass is fine, I will replace the bulbs in any event and thanks for the high density comment - very valid.

if its the reflector inside the fixture - you can still buy hella fixtures - in the usa, they are $60 to $65 each ... including h1 or h4 bulb.
