The wiring off fuse #1 forks and goes to both the left turn signal and to the engine bay light. In my car the wire to the left turn signal is blue-red and there seems to be no wiring for the engine bay light. On most diagrams this wire is grey-green. Then there is this set of wires that runs together across the entire front of the car(see image) and was sitting behind the right light bucket. It contains a brown-white and green-white wire where both have had their spades cut off, and a larger red wire (probably not factory) with a loop connector. The brown-white wire is hot (switched), the other two are dead (neither power nor ground).
I cannot find what these wires were for on any electrical diagram. I have no fog lights. All other components (lights, horn, signal) are accounted for. The brown-white line would be a problem for use for the engine bay light becasue it is switched (by ignition, not light switch). I can run a wire off the left signal which is what I will probably do.
I have learned tons over the last few weeks staring at these diagrams and thought I would no longer need electrical help but ........what are these cut wires (clearly factory) that were sitting behind the right light bucket ?
