My front seats are being reupholstered in leather. Why do most of the seats I see have a crease in the back? Some have it on the bottom also.
I had the front seats redone in 1984 the first time and they worked with the existing horse hair, supplemented with foam. They came out decent at best. The residual horse hair that was left in the current front seats was a sight to behold. The rear seats were redone in 1992 with leather from World Upholstery and they came out very nice. They are still in very nice condition. The hides being used for the front seats are a really nice match. The guy doing the front seats did the leather for the Jackie Onassis Bavaria. Just a small little auto/boat upholstery shop. He is making/sewing the front seats from the hides.
