Any ideas on what car these seats might have come out of ? They seem to have a lever to unlock and fold the seat back forward . ~ John Buchtenkirch

No but the side bolsters remind me of the high end AMG Mercedes with active side bolsters.
When you turn to the left the right bolster "hugs" your body from the right to keep you from going right. We were going to a customer meeting in our GM's car, so I was able to file a molestation lawsuit against my employer :).

Yes, I’d like to know. I’ve never been able to get comfortable in my stock coupe seats so those might be an answer for me. What he paid would also be helpful :?::?: Thanks ~ John Buchtenkirch
Second that; price and availability question. The low back recessed headrest really looks good. The leather and color are nice too (the door panels look like they match the seats but not the rear seats...).
I'd very much like a quote on an entire interior; headliner, door panels, rear seats... Have another quote for @ $5,000 recover kit and extra bulk material only, no install. Wondering what others are paying. Figured it would be up there @ 7-10 thousand.

I'll ask. When I saw this interior I wasn't taken by the appearance but I didn't want to offend because I know it was custom upholstered for this guy and his E9.

I find both Recaro and Scheel seats to be very comfortable. Other than the height issue (and the age related weight issue), Scheel's are still my favorite (have you tried Paul Cain's seats?). My E21 had the sport package and those Recaro's are good for guys with narrow ass*s, but I like a firmer cushion and the more aggressive seat back bolsters.

I also think the sport seats from E24 and E28's look nice. I don't know how easy it is to adapt them into an E9 though.
