Solid seat frames, guts, and hardware, obvious need for recovering. Two are driver and passenger matching blue cloth, one is driver blue leather (what’s left of it! It was actually covered in good ole sheepskin), one is brown vinyl. I have no idea what years, but if you guide me as to where to look or how to tell, I’ll dive in. More pics on request. Make an offer.
Yes the brown one is from an e3. The e3 has a u-shaped trim piece along the backside. The e9 has aluminum trim that runs the length of the seat back along the sides. E9 sears also fold forward.
I believe the blue one with the 'U" shaped lower seat bolster is also from an e3. Had two e3's, from '72 through 80. they both had that pattern for front seats. Had two e9's during the same period - never seen a "U" shaped bolster on their lower seat.
I was referring to the blue vinyl/leather seat - cracked vinyl/leather on one side. My guess is the blue velours are probably for a '74 e9 - horizontal stitching/pleats for 'rump' area from rear to front and 2/3 up the backrest.
These might be for a 2000CS - Been many many moons since I've seen one of those. Others - please help us!! - ha
I have a question while we are talking front seats..................are the bottom part of the seats identical for lh and rh. ie is there any difference....................doesn't seem to be.
Reason I ask is I have my seats back from trimmer (un assembled) and I had them marked lh and rh.....he has taken the tags off so I don't know which is which.
