Is there a list available for the parts (rubber, washers, etc) that should be replaced along with Bilsteins and the upper shock mount? I've pored through deQuinceys excellent posts regarding this upgrade (thanks DeQ) but can't identify the part #s from the pictures.

I'm thinking real hard about Carl Nelson springs, so I guess I need some help about additional parts they might require as well.

Any additional help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I replaced the upper and lower spring pads, but mine were in good shape and I had been advised that I would not notice the difference.

I also removed the silly aluminum spacers between the shock bearing/mount and the fender that BMW added to meet US DOT regulations. DeQ did not have these in his car.

The nut holding the top of the shock must be replaced, but other than that everything else can be reused.

I ditched the spacers on a eurospec car - removed them and upgraded to KW adjustable coilovers.

Hoping to get the car back from upholstery within the next week, after months of delays.

Can you post the part numbers for the coilovers you recently installed. KW does not seem to list a setup for our cars.
