Thought I would share my new pretty bits :)

I Have made some custom front sway bar links as my urethane ones have fallen to bits ( not really sure why, but suspect combination of hard ( read brittle) bushes and large articulation of the suspension from full droop to ride hight and bump travel)

Made some steel U saddles and made the vertical link using spherical rod ends, all seems to look ok at this stage, proof will be in the driving when I get back on the road. The saddles were machined from a solid lump of steel, then cut of to length, the bottom locating spigot was turned on a lathe, side holes drilled and bottom hole tapped etc etc

I had to go red urethane on my stock end links since the black rubber OEM bushings cracked in no time. Don't know whether it's a loading issue or material defect.

I think it's from very large range of movement, mainly when lifting the car on jack or hoist.
When it's on the ground in its normal ride position there is not the extreme angles on the bar that there is when the suspension is a full droop.
I had red urethane as well, lasted only a bit over a year and then just cracked and fell to bits
