Have just started to clean up my front wings and the small inner pieces are beaten up after dismantling them of the car.
Guess it will take some time to make them nice again, and they should be as you can see them when you open the doors.
Are there any reproduction of them out there?

I tried to find replacements for these parts during both my e9 restorations but had no luck. They are integrated in the front fenders and are sold as one piece. I managed to save the upper, most visible, part of them and made the lower area out of sheet metal which is not as difficult as it seems. But it involved a lot of test fitting before the right profile to match the doors was found.

There was a dutch guy who made press tool for this part, both L and R for his own 2000cs resto, (e9 is identical) and offered the tools up for sale; I reposted that add here a few years ago. I asked him to make me another set, which I recieved but haven't yet taken off my front wings so I need to hold on to my parts.

Point is, there was a tool at some point, so perhaps more parts are floating around.

That's very interesting topic!

Is there a way to buy such a press tool or to convince the guy to make another set of these? I'm pretty sure almost everyone, restoring E9 and not having NOS fenders would need this pieces as W&N is only providing the outer skin of bottom part, without the reinforcements and probably not many of us will have a specimen how such a part should be done to be close to original shape.

I think over years this becomes more and more vital topic so it might be worth to investigate it further.
