The front door glass runs in a front and rear glass run channel the window front has an up an down stop on the lift gear, there also must be a up and down stop on the rear channel to keep the rear edge in alingment with the front edge. Anyone have a photo of how they attach?

I am sure they attach to the two 10mm studs that hold the rear window edge into the steel rear channel but have no reference.

If you have the 'blue' binder removal is detailed, I have no picture. Hope the below answers your question.

The stop adjustment bolts with the rubber ends are the same front and rear. The only adjustment for the rear window is up and down.

The rear window is kept inline by the interior and exterior trim felt and rubber. The window is attached to a cassette mechanism by a riveted pivot point on the main lifter arm. The angle of the cassette is set and cannot be adjusted, the cassette attaches to the body by 8 10mm bolts, 3 short top rear, 3 longer top front and 2 lower.

To remove the window the entire cassette has to be removed. The window must be down to remove it from the car.

Frt wdo Rear Height adjustment

I have the binders, apparently I cannot see how the rear of the front window in the formed steel channel with the roller bearings is adjusted for top and bottm heights, there is some metal stops which I am missing?

Overall height is set by the stop on the motor. Front to rear is set by the angle of the tracks. This is a tricky combination of adjustments to get right. Take your time....
