It is with a heavy heart that I must put my trusty 540 up for sale. Vehicle is located in Columbus, GA.
The basics:
1994 540 Auto (only way they came that model year in the US)
Alpine on Parchment
196k miles
Full records going back to 1995 / 10k miles, including the original window sticker
Exclusively a southern car, it has never been north of GA, so no rust
original paint, no wrecks, all panels original
title in hand
Mods:
Conforti engine tune
Racing Dynamics adjustable front and rear sways
Bilstien HD shocks
Eibach springs
Supersprint catback exhaust
CD43 radio replacement
The car has been in the family since 1995, and has been continually used during that time. The vehicle has required virtually no unexpected repairs, and has never left me stranded. The vehicle has seen occasional use for the last 2 years since I purchased a newer vehicle, but even then I usually take it out at least once a week.
The only reason I am selling the car is because I am moving to Michigan. I will lack enough garage space for all my vehicles and the roads up there will destroy the suspension very quickly. I would much rather the car goes to a good home. It has a lot of life left in it, and I will miss it.
