what is the condition of the Bavaria S? Is it NOS or used and if used has it been refurbished and working? Will this fit an E3?

The radio is not NOS but is in very good condition and has been serviced.
Yes, it will fit BMW E3.

You asked in another post about the antenna for E3.

I suggest considering installing the Hirschmann Auta 6000 antenna.

Correct. This manual antenna is not dedicated to E3/E9.
