Bought this diff many years ago but never ended up using it. Was represented as a 3.45 Limited Slip version, however I was unable to locate the “S” stamp on the housing or an S in the casting. That said, upon internal examination it does appear to have the LSD spool, so its possible the stamp has worn off.

Turns freely, no binding or noises, it still has oil in it.

No idea what these are worth, but $1600 picked up seems to be fair based on a quick search.

At about 100 lbs, shipping would be pricey I think

Ohmess is probably right, you might want to rotate the inner case further, till numbers as below will showed up, if it will be S25 / S40 / S70 on the end - it is LSD, if 0 - it is almost empty LSD case, without dog ears plates, friction discs & inner gears have no outer teeth for friction discs to be mounted.

Good Call ! It says 4061006110 182057 S 0 so what I have is either a boat anchor or a door stop........is there any other value in this otherwise ? Would love to see it gone.

Well if someone wants to make me an offer, please do...its too heavy to keep moving around on my shelf. It can be picked up in North San Diego County ( Fallbrook 92028 ) or Marina Del Rey CA with advance notice.
