FS: Petri 40cm leather wrapped steering wheel

I bought the Petri wheel about 2 years ago from Coupeguy. I installed it in my 2002 for a while, but found it just too large for that car. As you can see, it is still in excellent restored condition. It’s a leather wrapped wheel and the stitching is great. There are 2 minor cracks on the hub which were repaired when restored. Horn plunger and horn button are fully functional.

I paid $1,200. I’d like to get $1,000 OBO for it. Free shipping in the continental US.

My Petri is from a 2002. The hub is slightly shorter than the e9 part, but works fine, and it was easy enough to modify and fit the 2002 horn contact ring to the steering column housing

E9s have the brass horn ring on the steering wheel and the carbon pin on the column.

2002s have the carbon pin on the steering wheel and the brass ring on the column.

The steering wheel is interchangeable yet the hubs are different.
