the one without the space is the one to have. mine has gone missing or hidden somewhere that i can't find it.
Yeah, it was hard to come by and I totally forgot about it. Why? Because it was sitting right in front of me this whole time on a shelf above my office desk. Time to get her on the grill soon. I also have one of these hen's tooth but no thread welded on the back for a badge, I don't have an Alpina anyways, just part of the collection.

My no-space BMWCCA badge was on my '72 2002 in place of the 2002 numbers on the rear panel. That is now on the grill of my 2002, and the CCA badge is on the front grill of my coupe. I joined the club right after I bought the 2002 in May 1972.

How did you mount the rear badge on the '02?

The Roundel mounting studs on the back panel have the same spacing as the BMWCCA badge studs. Since I did this about 50 years ago, I'm pretty sure I didn't drill any new holes in the back 2002 panel when I put the CCA badge back there.
