Yes I know the car very well. It used to be owned by a close friend of mine. It is a genuine CSL but not a BAT. It was partially restored in the early 90's by Noel Butler of NCB autocraft who fitted the 3.5 litre engine. The car was later converted to triple weber 45's. It is definitely a nice car and certainly drove very well last time I was in it!

Chamonix CSL, in the UK, with Bat kit

Many thx Polariscsl,

Interesting CSL.

Based on the first registration date, my guess would be a VIN in the range 2285250-2285350. As the seller belongs to the category: "I don't reply to emails - whatever subject", the only way to get the VIN, might be that someone goes and see the car (or a call to the seller).

Cheers

Motorhead,

Case closed. Of course you are right about the VIN for this car. I thought I've recognised the car but was confused by the different reg plates.

Many thx
Cheers
