I wonder why it has the early tail lights?
Good eye, it looks like one side is different than the other actually....possible rear end damage or just couldn't find another matching lense after one broke? Something to look into if up in the great NW looking at the car.
it could also be that he had issues with the light back plates and therefore not working correctly. i had that issue on my '73. the internal grounds didn't work right ... i tried running external ground wires ... that didn't work either. i replaced the rear plates with some i got out of a wreck and all was good.

IMHO, I would pick this over the 11K ebay item running. Bav's seem to be trying to catch on the tails of the coupe prices. Justified completely by being better cars:lol:
