Hi, all. I have a brand new piece of beltline trim for E3 passenger side rear quarter. I bought it for my 1973 Bavaria but it's not quite the correct part. This part wraps around the back corner of the car and goes over to the trunk, whereas the correct piece tapers to an end just before the corner. See picture showing the piece of trim for sale on top of my trunk next to the correct piece of trim on the other side of my car. Others on this forum have indicated it will fit 3.0s and 3.3Li. Can anyone use this? $75 obo. Thanks.

FYI I ended up trimming this part with garden shears and putting it on the car and I'm quite pleased with myself...

Thanks for idea, how did you get rubber on end to stay, just glue it? Don't know why I didn't think of that, all I need is the rubber anyways.

I actually didn't do anything to keep the rubber on. When I cut it the metal pinched down on the rubber a bit and I guess that's keeping it in place enough. See pic. Mine was not a precision job...
