I hope this hospital visit goes 100x better than last year. Too bad they are such dangerous places with regard to secondary infections. I still owe you a few iced coffees.

My added wishes for successful surgery and both successful and prompt recovery. My wife has experienced 5 back surgeries in the past 3 years, and probably will never have full recovery. Pain and restrictions are a way of life for her. As she says 'getting old isn't for wimps'. I hope your recovery is MUCH better. Our old cars need YOU!

Dear Koopman,
Hope that all goes well with your health.
PM sent.
Hi Eric;
Thanks for caring. As far as the Dutch name I use. I grew up and my best friends were mostly Dutch,quite a difference from my Armenian Heritage.
I use the name because of the simmalarity to the Coupe that most members use in their user names. I hope we can get negotiate a deal on the tools.
Thanks
Harry

Dear Harry,
Steve Benirschke here from Seattle. Good luck on your upcoming surgery. If you have front door panels in good condition, I am interested. I would love tan ones, but if any color is in good shape, I will dye them. Thanks for answering, and once again, good luck.

Thanks Steve. You are talking E9 correct?

Yes. I have a 2800 CS, originally Automatic, converted to overdrive 5 speed, now with Weber carbs, stainless steel exhaust. I converted the black interior to the lighter tan color (paint Malaga), and converted the crank front windows to electric. I would love front door panels with the holes where the ELECTRIC motors are, rather than what I have, which is the higher more forward hole for the old crank assembly. If I can't find tan, I found a guy who has experience with changing the color. I've seen solid new panels in black with no holes, but they are pricey, and I wonder if they are the same as the original when I see pictures of them. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I wish I was in Monterey right now...

Hi Steve;
I am not an expert on parts for your car. Are the door panels the same as an E9?

Yes, I have an E9, 1970 2800 CS, converted the crank windows to electric. trying to find door panels that have the holes where those electric motors are.
