For sale in Santa Ynez Ca. on eBay. Looks like a Bavaria surf mobile. Might be a fun car for someone. I didn't realize 2800's had belt trim.

It's a 2800 Bavaria, that is why it has belt trim.

I saw this car in Los Olivos a couple of years ago when going to get coffee and went into the coffee shop and had a chat with the owner - I think his name was Randy and he used to race with VARA a few years back. I remember him saying something about medical issues back then, used to live in San Diego and Carl Nelson might know him. He was a nice enough guy and the car did seem like a real performance driver. So FWIW the owner does have some long term cred in the vintage BMW space
