I'm hoping someone close to Michigan may have a use for this engine. It was pulled from my car last winter for a 3.5L upgrade.
It is a running engine but it seems a little tired, it will likely need attention sooner than later.
A couple of parts were taken from it out of necessity for my B35 swap. (Valve cover, front timing cover for distributor, oil pan)

$100 a fair price?

If there is no interest complete I will likely disassemble for fun, maybe someone would like individual parts instead.

$100 seems fair to me. I'm not interested but the only problem I see is finding someone local to pick it up. I spent a fair amount of money to ship my numbers matching motor to the previous buyer of my E3 after the M30b35 was dropped in. But he paid up big time for the Bav so it wasn't a problem in the long run. It all comes out in the wash.

Not that numbers matching really means much on a Bavaria but someone may want to pump this motor up and drop it into something else. It already has the better oil filter adapter. A crating shipper can build a custom crate pretty easily to ship, just make sure you get paid up front for crating/shipping, not that big of a hassle. Just an idea. Good luck, somebody can use this I'm sure. As we all know they are great motors.

Stamped number is 3101234 on this ol lady.
Thanks for the encouragement!
Clearly this is about keeping these things out of scrapyards. ;)
