In an effort to free up some shelf space, I've finally decided not to keep several of every part for my car. Maybe this can live on your shelf instead.
This is the tank pulled from my '73 CS. The inside has surface rust, but I think it would clean up. Perhaps of note is the corrosion where the two halves come together. I am showing the worst section in the photo below.
These are available new from BMW for something like $1,800. WN has new ones for about $1,200 US. If you are in need don't mind fussing with it a bit, maybe $50 plus shipping for this one? Let me know what you think.
