i see the W+N box, so i would think repops, that is a very reasonable price. many companies ask $200+ for one side ... w+n sells them for 145 euro + shipping ... around 175 bucks +

These bear the BMW logo and the box has the BMW Group sticker. Not sure what’s”repops” are but these look original to me.

If anyone of interested make me an offer.

Thank you for clarifying. There’s one just like this listed used on eBay for $250. I also have these listed on eBay for $195 each. I’m listing it here for much less because I, like all of you, am in this as hobby and not to turn a profit.

This is a great deal folks! Traps compliment the delicate lines of the coupe. Yes visibility isn’t as good as flag mirrors but I went from flags to traps and once adjusted it’s fine. Visibility in these cars is good to begin with.

Unfortunately, they are all repops (reproductions) now. One of the unfortunate terms of having them reproduced is that sometimes the original maker of the part is no longer in business and another supplier is chosen and maybe even from another country of origin! When the trapezoid mirrors were first reproduced by BMW about 18 years ago it was obvious after several months that the quality of the materials and methods of production had changed. The white mirror gaskets were of an inferior material to the originals and dried up and cracked; the way the edge of the mirror head around the edge of the glass was rolled was poorly executed as well.
Look on the mirror or the box to see where the mirrors were made and report back! Many companies like BMW are contracting outside Germany to lower costs and maintain profits. I bought some Hella H1 and H4 bulbs and was surprised to see that they were now stamped, Made in Korea! Bosch will use Spain, Poland, Czechoslovakia, and other countries as will BMW.
