This crankshaft came out of my running engine. I've since sold the bare block with the chassis. I was going to make a cool lamp out of the crankshaft, but realize it is too heavy to be a piece of furniture, and it seems too nice to not use for automotive purpose. I am not a machinist, but I checked all of the main and rod bearing journals and everything is within spec from my measurements. In fact, the rod journals are shockingly consistent. $100

In addition to the measurements, I did the fingernail test and nothing snags anywhere. There are small groves on the numbers 1 and 4 rod bearing journals, but very minor. The rear seal surface has a small grove as well, but not bad. If you look closely, you may see some fuzz from the paper towel I used to wipe it off before photographing.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for looking!
Stephen

Bump. Lower price: $100.

I think I have a slick way of shipping this safely by using a piece of PVC pipe along with other packaging.

Many years ago i had an Audi S8 that lost a rod bearing and I decided to replace the engine (no warranty of course). I thought about making a table out of the old engine (saw it on Top Gear), but decided that I didn't want to be reminded how much lighter my wallet was.
