FS Petri 38cm *SOLD*

Hi all,
i have a 38cm Petri for sale, just the wheel with the black ring (no hub/ cover nor horn button. Big advantage is that the wheel is in the US so the shipping will be quick and buyer will save the PayPal exchange rates etc. Payment will be in USD to a friend who’s kindly holding onto the wheel for me in CA. Like with some of the older wheels, this one doesn’t have the ‘support ring’ under the spokes and there are some minor ‘holes’ on the rear side of the wrap which are not visible when mounted and have no effect on the wheel as such.....but they are there.

Hi all,
i still have this wheel for sale except now I have all the parts to complete it. I have the original E9 hub, cover and a perfect horn button, black ring and screws.

Im asking for 1300€ plus shipping. Wheel is already in the US (Florida) rest of the parts are with me in Germany (57€ with DHL)

seems like a quite reasonable price for a nice wheel. i have a petri that i bought from @Keshav and i can tell you his descriptions are accurate, if not conservative.

Is there a way to repair the grip? Fill the holes with something?

not sure you can really fill + smooth the grip. perhaps you could use Polyvance padded dash filler, then lightly sand + paint it ... but you would be happier in the long run with a thicker wheel wrapped in leather ... or just use it like it is

Do you mean have a foam one, like this one, wrapped in leather?

yep ... some people remove the foam, i think others have wrapped the foam

I have an original Petri E9 (hub) cover left over in great shape….no cracks knicks etc… which could be sent along with the wheel to CA.
€75 for hub plus in country mailing from CA. I can mail elsewhere too at buyers cost

Just the outer plastic black cover

Its the standard E9/ E3 cover for wheels with the ‘support’ ring under the spokes. I’m asking for 75€ plus mailing. The one in the pic above
