FS: Petri 38CM steering wheel $600

Petri 38CM sport steering wheel, came with a parts lot I purchased 15 years ago. Rubber cover loose/moves from 11:30 to 12.30 on top of wheel. Horn button is exceptional, hub cover is cracked and has been repaired before. Black steel mounting ring is from a 2002 Petri I think, as it seem smaller than an E9 ring. Wheel has been detached from hub, brass horn contact ring loose from hub.
$600 shipped US 48 states.

I don't want to spoil your day, but I'm pretty sure it's a VW hub.

I had a similar hub marked VW and splines are different.

Yes.
Also BMW hub covers are narrower in front & wider in the back
VW hub cover vice-versa - wider in front & narrower in the back

Thank you for all of your input. Not being an expert on the Petri steering wheels, I did some research, and yes, it’s for a VW and not an E9. I am going to advertise it in the appropriate VW market.
