I call them "Frua" because they were most notably used on at least one of the Frua coupes, as referenced in these threads:

14x6, 13 pounds each. As found I would say they are all in nice driver condition. I cleaned them up as much as I had energy for but they all have some little nicks and curb rash. Great candidates for restoration, which they certainly deserve. Come with 3 (doh!) even more rare center caps in OK but not great condition.

Unique, beautiful wheels. I think they would look great on a 2500/2800 or 2800cs. More pictures available.

$1500 PayPal goods and services. Buyer pays shipping from Western Connecticut. Would also be interested in partial trade towards 14" 5-hole Alpina alloys (I know, I know).

Thanks, Michael

These are nice! A real flashback. I have seen these on BMWs way back when. Would be cool for someone to purchase these and fit them to the appropriate car. Great finishing touch. ;)

Montreal in the late '70s had some very interesting European cars. Renault Gordinis, Lancia, absolutely anything British, and German cars all over the place. Definitely had some influence.

Chris, I have that same picture. Do you happen to know what year it's from? And/or within what date range these wheels were made? I looked all over mine and couldn't find a date.

@Krzysztof,

Thank you for resurrecting the Frua Barn find thread. I was certain that it discussed a need for the original wheels, and at first glance it appears that it still may?

Can someone get a hold of the OP? @deQuincey have you been in contact?

These super rare FPS alloys are available for another few weeks and then back into storage.

I just got back from Laguna Seca historics.. I swear I saw a set of these on an E9 inside the paddocks. I had no
idea what I was looking at... at first I thought they were a variant of the Chromodoras on my '70 2800...

Excuse my ignorance: CMacha kindly reminded me I have FPS rims on my '70 2800.

Think I've seen something very similar :) (eyes left)
I'd buy them as spares but one hole too many. Car was purchased in Barcelona, although wears Madrid plates.

They seem a little more 'common' on NK cars, but still not common at all of course. They would look great on an early 2800cs I think.

Would be cool to have matching on my 6cyl...don't suppose you'd have any interest in these:

Good evening, are they still available?

There are a couple of people who have expressed interest and a deal is pending. If that changes I will let you know.
Thanks, Michael
