The 2nd annual Concours was held Friday, Oct.28th at the Super Yacht Center next to the Intracoastal Waterway in Ft. Lauderdale. 35 Classic American & foreign cars were selected from those that registered for the event. They ranged from a 1955 Mercedes Gullwing to a 1921 Kissel "Gold Bug" Speedster. Dirk De Groen's 1980 M1 and my 1973 3.0CS were part of the group of collector cars.
We were also given tickets to a lunch on a yacht and tix to the Boat Show,which is the largest on the water show in the world. Then we had tix to the car show with food, drinks and music. We didn't win any awards , but the crowd really liked the style of both cars and the Turkis color of the Coupe. Five hours at the Boat show and then 5 hours at the Car Show made for a full day.
